Exploring St. Roch Market

St. Roch Market is one of my favorite places to go for lunch. Located in a historic building, this food hall has 13 awesome vendors that sell southern and local foods. You can grab a bite to eat whether you’re in the mood for seafood, comfort foods, Tex-Mex, or even a healthy fresh cold-pressed juice. The vendor Juice NOLA has a locally sourced chimichurrey sauce that goes great on salads. St. Roch Market has locally grown produce that you can buy also, be it fruits, veggies, dairy, or eggs. I bought Mauthe’s Milk for $4.5 a gallon and some sweet satsumas to bring home! After we finished eating we explored the Bywater area and walked in Crescent Park, making it an overall great and healthy afternoon.
